    This course aims for delegates to have an understanding of requirements for planning, organising and supervising work at height. It also looks to provide options on how to comply with work at height hierarchy as well as a background of systems and equipment that can be used. Delegates will receive an understanding of the equipment standards to ensure usage within the intended purpose.

    Designed for those who supervise, manage, or plan work at height activities. 

    It is suitable for roles such as:
    • Site supervisors and team leaders
    • Construction and maintenance managers
    • Facilities and estates managers
    • Health & Safety professionals
    • Project managers overseeing work at height activities 
    • Contractors working on roofs, scaffolding, or elevated structures 

    Course Format (Important Information) 

    This course is available as both in-person and remote learning. For remote delegates, access to a suitable laptop or PC with a working webcam and audio are required, and cameras should remain on throughout the session and assessment.

    Delegates will also need the ability to communicate with the instructor via microphone or chat function. 

    If these requirements cannot be met, delegates may not able to continue with the course. 

    Course Entry Criteria

    All delegates must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them working at height. (A list of conditions that could affect practical training and work at height are available on request).

    Anyone who supervises, manages or plans work at height operations. Including site supervisors, managers, project leads, facilities managers and health and safety professionals working across industries such as construction, utilities, manufacturing and similar sectors.

    Delegates should have a good understanding of spoken and written English.  Delegates must also confirm they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that may prevent them from working at height.     How the Training Works 

    Q6. Is this course classroom-based or practical? 
    This course is available both in-person or via a remote classroom.

    Q7. What do I need for the remote version of this course? 
    Access to a laptop or PC with a working webcam and audio/microphone. A stable internet connection is also required. Cameras must remain on throughout and be able to communicate by microphone or platform chat. If you have any questions about device requirements, please reach out to our team on 0345 605 0006.

    Q8. What do I need to bring for the in-person version of this course? 
    As this is a theory-based course, PPE is not normally required. However, PPE may be needed for practical activities or where training takes place at one of our live operational sites. This will include a hi-vest or jacket, hard hat, safety gloves, eye protection, a long-sleeved top, and full-length trousers. Please contact us before your course  start date to confirm whether PPE is require for your course.

    Q9. Is lunch provided for the in-person course?
    Lunch is not provided so delegates are advised to bring their own lunch or make use of nearby facilities. Training centres are equipped with a kettle, microwave and fridge if needed.

    Most of our training venues offer free on-site parking, although spaces may be limited. You’ll receive full parking details, including What3Words navigation, once your booking is confirmed.     Delegates will receive access to an assessment question paper through a link provided by the trainer.

    Delegates who successfully complete the course will receive a digital certificate of attendance valid for three years.
