    This is a construction focused health and safety course. IOSH Working Safely covers basic employee-level safety that is non construction focused.IOSH Leading Safely focuses on strategic safety leadership for senior directors and executives. Sector-specific courses such as Managing Occupational Health & Wellbeing or Safety for Executives and Directors provide specialist knowledge.

    Who Should Attend

    People working on or around construction sites, including labourers, tradespeople, site operatives, subcontractors and others who need to visit construction sites as part of their work.

    Delegates should be at least 18 years old and have a competent understanding of written and spoken English. No other formal qualifications required.

    How the Training Works 

    Q8. Is this course classroom-based or practical?
    The course is classroom-based and uses practical construction-site examples, discussions and real-life scenarios. The focus is on helping workers understand common site hazards, their responsibilities and how to work safely.

    Q9. Is lunch provided during the course?
    Lunch is not provided so delegates are advised to bring their own lunch or make use of nearby facilities. Training centres are equipped with a kettle, microwave and fridge if needed.

    Q10. What should I bring on the day? 
    Please bring photo ID and wear comfortable workwear, particularly as you may be sitting for extended periods. Some venues may require PPE; details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
